How much does a consultation cost?
A one-hour consultation costs $150 CAD.

Do I need an immigration consultant or can I apply by myself?
You can apply on your own. There’s no legal requirement to use a consultant. However, immigration applications are complex, the rules change frequently, and errors or omissions can result in delays or refusals. A consultant helps ensure your application is complete, accurate, and submitted through the right pathway for your situation.
How long does the immigration process typically take?
That depends on the kind of application and your circumstances. A work permit can take between three weeks and eight months. A visitor visa may take one to six months to be processed, while permanent residency applications can take between 12 and 24 months. Family sponsorships can take even longer. The wait times are approximate and subject to constant change.
What documents will I need to prepare?
Required documents vary by application type, but commonly include valid passports, proof of employment or finances, educational credentials, and civil documents such as birth or marriage certificates. We provide you with a complete personalized checklist at the start of your case so nothing is missed.
What is a CAQ and do I need one?
A CAQ — Certificat d’acceptation du Québec — is a provincial document required by the Québec government for most foreign nationals who plan to study or work in Québec. It is separate from the federal study or work permit and must typically be obtained first. If you’re planning to come to Québec specifically, you will almost certainly need one.
What happens if my application is refused?
A refusal is not necessarily the end of the road. Depending on the reason, options may include reapplying with additional documentation, requesting reconsideration, or exploring an alternative immigration pathway. We review refusal letters carefully and advise you on the most realistic next steps.
Can I work in Canada as a visitor?
Almost always the answer is no: you need a work permit to work in Canada. There are some exceptions (for example, business visitors, military personnel, short-term workers in journalism and the arts). Check Canadian laws before you accept employment.
